Meredith Omland
Missionary with SAMS (Society of Anglican Missionaries and Senders) in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico
Meredith grew up in the Washington, D.C., area and graduated from Wheaton College (IL) in 1997. Upon graduating, she joined a young missionary team that was planting a church in Fresnillo. There she has worked primarily with children and youth, teaching and discipling them through Kid’s Bible Club and youth group, but she has taught and worked with adults as well. The previous church plant, La Iglesia del Gran Pastor, has now become a thriving church where she has been the only non-Mexican since November 2014. She has the privilege of serving the church in many ways, administratively and spiritually, as she works to equip, train, and raise up Mexican Christian leaders. In her free time, Meredith enjoys traveling, baking, reading, and hanging out with her four dogs.
